Priest

Priest — Scars of Honor

Priest is meant to keep the classic healer identity in Scars of Honor, but not as a passive, UI-only support class. The developers described it as an active combat healer whose healing stays central while damage and other holy or spiritual tools can also matter. Two concepts were mentioned: a more protected worshipper style and a more aggressive exorcist style. What has been shown so far is mostly design intent, not a finished kit. Priest has been named as part of later class rollout plans, but its appearance in any specific test build has not been confirmed in the source.

Class fantasy and intended playstyle

The clearest thing the source establishes is that Priest is supposed to preserve the healer fantasy without becoming a passive support role. Healing remains central, but the class is meant to stay active in combat and to express different forms of holy or spiritual power.

The knowledge base describes two concepts. One is a worshipper protected by an angelic avatar. The other is an exorcist, presented as a more unusual MMO healer archetype: more aggressive, more physical in presence, and using tricks, dispels, and anti-curse or anti-demonic tools. The exorcist is also described as more damage-oriented than a standard healer, while still being rooted in priest mechanics.

A later note on healer design reinforces the same direction: healing and damage are meant to support each other through different pathways, rather than reducing the role to repetitive healing-only gameplay.

What has been said about rollout and testing

Priest appears in the source mostly as a class planned for later stages, not as a class already shown in a playable state. One article says the spring demo was expected to feature Paladin, Druid, Mage, and Ranger, while Priest was named for later milestones such as early access or release-era availability.

Another source says that for the June event, at least one additional class was expected, and Priest was again listed among the classes intended for early access or release plans. A separate note on the next public test calls Priest one of the easier classes to develop and an important core archetype, but still does not confirm its inclusion in that test window.

The most concrete testing-related statement is that future focused events were proposed as the way to introduce and test additional classes such as Priest with direct player feedback. That means the source points to a staged reveal and testing plan, not a finalized public schedule for Priest itself.

What is still unknown

The source does not confirm Priest’s actual abilities, talent tree, or combat resources. It also does not say which of the two concepts, worshipper or exorcist, will be the final direction, or whether both will survive into the released class.
